Which is a better option, under construction home or ready to move in apartment.

This question comes to the minds of all homebuyers in the city. I definitely asked my self this question when I decided to buy a house here in Bangalore. I moved to the city a while ago and was staying in a rented apartment in Bannerghatta road. The locality is good and was near to my office. After staying in Bangalore for more than 3 years, I finally decided to buy a house here.

It is by far one of the best decisions I made, amidst the pandemic that is going on. After doing enough research online, I decided to go for a ready to move into an apartment. You will actually find many blogs and forums online that discuss the advantages of buying a ready to move in an apartment vs an under-construction apartment.

I went for a project which was near to my place called GR Regent park. It is in Bannerghatta road and had everything that I was looking for including the amenities. The best part is It had ready to move in apartments and the price of the apartment fit right into my budget.

The project had 2 and 3 BHK ready tomove in apartments in the high-rise project. The advantages I had buying a ready to move in the apartment was-

1.      I did not have to pay GST

2.      I got what I saw

3.      It was ready to move in, all I had to do is choose which flat to go for.

4.      It had all the amenities and I could physically inspect them

5.      I was able to see and inspect the finished product, which helped me decide faster.

6.      I enquired about the builder and found out they were in fact well known in the market.

7.      I did not have to wait for long once I finished the paperwork and payments.

All in all, it was an experience for me, as it was my first real estate purchase. I would definitely say it was a wholesome one.
