Is it worth it to buy an apartment in Bangalore?

 

This is a question I’ve come across many times. Many people tend to have this thought in mind when they are going to purchase a flat.

I would like to put forward my views here to say that it is definitely worth buying an apartment in Bangalore. I would also like to add that it varies from individual to individual and also depends on the requirements of the person.

 

For a person who is in the city for a job and is here temporarily, it definitely does not make sense to buy anapartment. However, for a person who is planning to shift to the city permanently with his or her family it definitely makes sense to buy a flat provided he or she has the budget and has done enough market research.

 

An individual will have certain ideas and plans as to how his to her dream home should be. It depends on one’s age, family, financial background, etc

 

Here are certain things or factors that might influence you to buy a flat in Bangalore.



1.     The city is a culmination of north and south India. Hence no matter where you are from you will like the city and would want to settle down here.

2.      The culture of the city is pretty diverse. You will find people from different walks of life here.

3.      It is touted as the garden city.

4.      It is the IT capital of the country.

5.      It has various sectors of industries that have opportunities for jobs and businesses.

6.      Bangalore is now becoming the hub for start-ups also.

7.      There are many upcoming projects in Bangalore that will help you get a good rate if you are willing to purchase a flat.

8.      The Bangalore Metro is expanding; hence connectivity will not be an issue in future.

9.      If your house is located anywhere near the metro station it will have a good resale value also.

10.  The benefit of not paying rent is absolute.

11.  There are certain tax benefits that one will enjoy if he is buying a ready to move inapartment.
